The Association has been made aware of an incident in which two (2) persons were soliciting door-to-door in our buildings. Solicitation inside the community is not allowed.

Please follow these safety steps:

– Do not open doors or gates for anyone unless you personally know them to be a resident.

– If someone is at your door and you are unsure, use your peephole/intercom or speak through the door — do not open it.

– Do not engage, chase, or let solicitors into common areas or buildings.

– If the person claims to be from a company or performing a service, ask for identification and then call the company to verify before allowing entry.

– If you feel threatened or the person is trespassing, call 911 immediately to report the incident.

– If safe to do so, note descriptions (clothing, vehicle, direction traveled) and take photos or video from inside without opening the door.

– After contacting police, please notify the Association manager, Donna DePledge, via email at ddepledge@actionlife.com, so we can track incidents.
